In the present situation where the demand for electricity is growing along with increase in power costs, this has really made the age old proverb true “Necessity is the mother of all inventions”. In this situation Solar Power harnessing as become need of the hour.
The main motto behind this is to augment the existing conventional methods of power generation. The present power generation is through Hydel, Thermal, Nucleaer and Diesel. All these cause a strain on the resources available which is slowly depleting. So an alternative source of power generation has become inevitable to meet the ever increasing power demand. In addition some of the present power generation methods like Nuclear and Thermal generate hazardous wastage which affects the environment.
